Position Overview
This Guest Relations Executive role within the Food and Beverage team involves ensuring the hostess desk is always manned, greeting guests promptly, and escorting them as needed, while being knowledgeable about the menu to answer queries. You will schedule dining reservations and arrange special requests following the Restaurant Reservations SOP, address guest complaints quickly, gather feedback to improve service, and maintain guest privacy through accurate, confidential documentation of guest data and history.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Welcome & Service
- Ensure the hostess desk is always manned, greeting guests promptly and escorting them as needed
- Be knowledgeable about the menu to answer any guest queries
- Address any guest complaints quickly and gather feedback to ensure satisfaction
Reservations & Documentation
- Schedule dining reservations and arrange special requests following the Restaurant Reservations SOP
- Use the F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist to ensure accuracy
- Maintain guest privacy by adhering to confidentiality protocols and ensuring accurate documentation of guest data and history
Operational Knowledge & Team Support
- Maintain knowledge of the dining room layout, table numbers, stations, and colleagues working during each shift
- Support team efforts by assisting with training, cleaning, and inventory tasks
- Ensure adherence to Jumeirah standards for luxurious service delivery
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or secondary education
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in guest service-related work in a 5-star hotel in Casual/All Day Dining
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Micros and Epicure Restaurant Reservation systems
- Proficient in English (read, write, speak — essential)
- Proficient in an additional language preferred (read, write, speak)
