Position Overview
This Laundry Team Leader role involves leading daily operations by coordinating workflow, assigning tasks and meeting production targets, operating and overseeing industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers, training attendants in sorting, fabric care and stain removal, performing stain removal and chemical treatments, inspecting finished items for premium cleanliness, managing linen logistics including trolley preparation and stock control, and maintaining a clean, safe and organised laundry area.

Stain Removal & Quality Control
- Perform stain removal and apply appropriate chemical treatments

Linen Logistics & Workplace Standards
- Manage linen logistics: trolley preparation, distribution and stock control

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Washman in a commercial or hotel laundry
- Hands-on experience operating industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers
Essential Skills
- Advanced knowledge of stain identification and chemical stain-removal techniques
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong commitment to safety, hygiene and quality control
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
