Key Responsibilities
Task & Prompt Creation
- Write natural language prompts that read like real engineering tickets, including realistic ambiguity and professional context
- Draft simple prompts that act as a starting point for AI models to build upon
Environment & Sandbox Configuration
- Set up and configure LocalStack sandboxes (local AWS mocks) to validate infrastructure tasks
- Craft the initial infrastructure state supporting each training scenario
Golden Solution Development
- Build golden solutions that include passing automated end-to-end tests
- Ensure tasks meet a high quality bar; simple or poorly formatted tasks are rejected
Response Evaluation & Benchmarking
- Choose the correct response between two AI-generated answers to a given infrastructure question
- Support quality benchmarking across the AI training pipeline
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Must be a senior-level practitioner in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Professional, hands-on experience with at least one high-priority IaC platform: AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation
- Experience with Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet considered a plus
Essential Skills
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language for infrastructure scripting and testing: TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts fluently in written English, following strict style guidelines
