Position Overview
This Procurement Specialist role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing ingredients, packaging and services, preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and tracking deliveries, evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring inventory levels, working closely with operations, finance and production teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Purchase Order Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, sourcing ingredients, packaging and services
- Prepare and process purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers
- Track deliveries and maintain accurate procurement records
Supplier Evaluation & Negotiation
- Evaluate supplier performance for quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms
Inventory & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely, cost-efficient supply
- Work closely with operations, finance and production teams
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Follow company policies and support continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred
Experience Requirements
- Relevant experience in food, hospitality or FMCG procurement is beneficial
Essential Skills
- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including experience with purchase orders
- Supplier evaluation and vendor management skills
- Contract negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and maintain supplier relationships
- Analytical skills to interpret data, compare quotations and manage budgets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or procurement systems advantageous
