Position Overview
This Paymaster role involves handling cash transactions including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and managing petty cash, processing payroll for employees with timely and accurate payments, and reconciling accounts daily. You will operate POS systems and cash registers, prepare financial reports for management, respond to employee payroll inquiries, and implement cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud.

Key Responsibilities
Cash Handling & Financial Records
- Handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and managing petty cash
- Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers with precision
- Implement and maintain cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud
Payroll Processing
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and financial matters
Reporting, Compliance & Collaboration
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues
Qualifications & Requirements
System Requirements
- Experience with the Oasys System is a MUST
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
Experience Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role
- Proven experience in cash handling and financial record-keeping
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and practices
- Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
