Mangobot, a company building AI and robotics solutions, is hiring a Robot Hardware Operator in Dubai. You will be the first responder for its robots in the field: you deploy them, watch how they perform and fix hardware problems on the spot. About the Role
You will drive robots in a company vehicle to their work areas, run pre-deployment safety checks on battery voltage, sensor calibration and emergency stops, and watch telemetry during missions, stepping in when a robot gets stuck. You will do routine upkeep such as cleaning sensors, tightening fasteners and lubricating joints, find faults with diagnostic software, a multimeter and error logs, and decide whether a problem is software or hardware. Repairs include replacing LiDARs, cameras, sensors, wheel motors, servo actuators and battery management systems, and re-crimping wires or swapping cable harnesses.

Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deploy robots, with pre-deployment safety checks
- Operate robots on missions and monitor telemetry
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance
- Diagnose hardware faults using software, multimeters and error logs
- Replace sensors, motors, actuators, batteries and cables in the field or workshop
- Manage a small stock of spare parts in the service vehicle
- Log all work in the fleet system and give feedback to engineers
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering, electronics or mechatronics, or equivalent trade skill
- Valid driving licence with a clean record, confident with a van or pickup
- Skilled with hand tools and a multimeter, and able to lift and load equipment
- Able to read wiring diagrams and assembly manuals, with experience diagnosing electromechanical systems
- Basic computer skills; Linux or Ubuntu familiarity is a strong plus
- Patient problem solver, clear communicator, fluent in English and Arabic
- Nice to have: field service experience, basic soldering and ROS command line knowledge
