Stores Executive Position Overview

You will own the flow of materials from the receiving dock to the production floor. That means checking deliveries, storing items correctly, issuing material against requests and posting every movement in the ERP. Regular cycle counts and stock audits help you spot variances early, find the cause and fix it. You will also work with Procurement, Supply Chain, Project and Production teams so materials are available when they are needed.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Do Day to Day

Manage end-to-end inventory and stores operations.
Handle material receipt, inspection, storage and issuance.
Monitor stock levels and accuracy across all locations.
Run periodic and interim counts, cycle counts and stock audits.
Analyse variances and take corrective action.
Maintain inventory records and transactions in the ERP.
Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Project and Production on material planning.
Produce inventory, stock movement and reconciliation reports.
Work with Power BI, VBA and MS Office tools.
Follow company inventory policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

3–6 years of relevant experience in inventory, stores or material management.
Strong ERP knowledge, preferably SAP and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Good understanding of supply chain, purchasing and inventory management.
Hands-on inventory control, material handling, counts and variance analysis.
Experience with material receipt and issue processes.
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus Power BI and VBA.
Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent coordination and communication.
Diploma in engineering, B.Com or a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Willing to work six days a week.
