Position Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist makes sure warehouse and shipping processes work smoothly and that customer orders are handled on schedule. With a structured way of working, you keep stock levels, goods movements, and logistics flows in view at all times and help keep the supply chain efficient. Your tasks include inventory checks and corrections of stock levels, handling intercompany orders between sites, and booking and managing goods movements in the ERP system, which is named as Microsoft Dynamics Axapta. You prepare shipments and deliver RMA items as well as customer-specific make-to-order products, support regular inventories and stock counts, and organise and maintain the warehouse and shipping areas. You also take part in the RMA process and work closely with the Manufacturing and RMA Management teams. It is a good fit for someone who has started out in warehouse logistics and wants a role with clear responsibility and a real say in how processes run.

Why This Role Matters: When a customer orders a product, most of what they notice is whether it arrives on time and whether it is the right item. Behind that sits a lot of quiet work: stock that is counted correctly, goods movements that are booked in the system the moment they happen, returns that are handled properly, and made-to-order items that leave the building with the right paperwork. If the numbers in the system do not match the shelf, orders slip and teams lose time chasing answers. The inventory control specialist is the person who keeps the system and the warehouse in agreement. That accuracy is what lets Manufacturing, RMA Management, and the sites that exchange goods with each other plan with confidence.
