Key Responsibilities
Sugarcane & Rice Farming Operations
- Participate in and support all aspects of sugarcane and rice crop planting, seeding, and establishment operations across Florida Crystals’ 180,000-acre Palm Beach County farming estate
- Assist in planning and executing crop cultivation activities — including soil preparation, nutrient management, fertilization programs, and targeted pest and weed control treatments across active production fields
- Support efficient and timely harvest operations across sugarcane and rice crop production areas — coordinating field activities to ensure smooth, productive, and waste-minimizing harvest execution
- Contribute to crop rotation planning and implementation — supporting soil health, yield optimization, and the long-term sustainability of Florida Crystals’ regeneratively managed farmland
Organic & Regenerative Production
- Work actively on Florida Crystals’ Regenerative Organic Certified® farming operations — gaining practical experience in one of the most advanced and recognized sustainable agricultural systems in the United States
- Support the implementation of organic production practices — including organic-approved fertility programs, biological pest management strategies, and soil health enhancement initiatives aligned with ROC™ certification standards

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Business, or a closely related field — required as the minimum educational qualification for SRDP program eligibility
- An above-average GPA is required — Florida Crystals values academic achievement as an indicator of commitment, analytical capability, and professional potential in SRDP candidates
Experience & Background
- Farming experience is preferred — candidates with hands-on experience in crop production, farm management, or agricultural field operations will be given priority consideration
