This role places you at the center of one of the most transformative infrastructure trends in the entire Middle East — with a tax-free salary and premium project credentials to match.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation Oversight & Compliance
- Oversee all electrical installation works on Data Center projects in strict accordance with approved construction drawings, project specifications, and local UAE authority regulations
- Monitor and verify the quality of electrical installations across all critical spaces — including LV rooms, Electrical Technical Spaces (ETS), IDF rooms, server rooms, and ancillary MEP areas
- Ensure all electrical works are executed within approved budget parameters and aligned with the project delivery schedule throughout all phases of construction
Material Management & Technical Submittals
- Ensure all electrical materials are ordered in full compliance with project specifications, within budget, and according to the procurement schedule to prevent installation delays
- Review, assess, and process technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approval requests — providing timely, technically accurate responses for client and consultant review
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage lead times for critical electrical equipment including HV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution units
MEP Coordination & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate closely and daily with design engineers, construction supervisors, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless, clash-free integrated MEP delivery across all Data Center areas
- Monitor progress across critical MEP work fronts — LV rooms, ETS, IDF, server halls, cooling infrastructure, and power distribution — flagging risks and delays immediately to the project management team
- Attend and represent the company at client, consultant, contractor, and authority meetings — presenting electrical progress updates, technical positions, and compliance statuses confidently
Variation Management, RFIs & Commercial Support
- Support variation management processes — identifying, documenting, and submitting electrical scope changes with full technical substantiation for QS and planning team review
- Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs) for all electrical engineering queries — ensuring timely responses that keep the construction program moving without delay
- Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying and Planning teams to ensure commercial and schedule impacts of electrical variations are accurately captured and reported
Testing & Commissioning and Standards Compliance
- Coordinate all testing and commissioning activities with electrical equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and specialist commissioning teams across the full Data Center electrical scope
- Ensure full compliance with QMS, HSE requirements, ISMS security management standards, and green building certification requirements including ESTIDAMA and LEED throughout the project
