Position Overview
This AI Automation & Agent Engineer role at InfasME in Dubai is a hands-on, delivery-focused position for an engineer who loves building AI that actually ships. You will design and maintain automation workflows on a low-code integration platform, integrate internal and third-party systems via APIs and webhooks, develop and configure LLM-based agents for knowledge retrieval and task automation, own prompt engineering and RAG setup, build evaluation datasets, ship rapid proofs-of-concept, produce technical documentation, and hand over clean, reliable solutions to platform owners — covering the full cycle from idea to controlled production rollout.

Key Responsibilities
Automation Workflow Design & Integration
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows on the low-code integration platform — triggers, connectors, and multi-step logic
- Integrate internal and third-party systems via APIs, webhooks, and connectors with reliable data flow and error handling
- Connect systems cleanly and hand over documented, working solutions to platform owners
- Build internal tools, dashboards, and demos rapidly to validate ideas and prove concepts
LLM Agent Development & Configuration
- Develop and configure LLM-based agents for knowledge retrieval, task automation, and decision support
- Own prompt engineering, RAG setup, guardrail configuration, and output evaluation end to end
- Apply hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent/automation frameworks
- Build agents that solve defined internal use cases from proof-of-concept through tested, controlled production rollout
Evaluation, Safety & Quality Assurance
- Build evaluation datasets and metrics to measure agent accuracy, safety, and consistency before release
- Design and configure guardrails that ensure agent outputs are reliable, safe, and consistent
- Test automations rigorously before phased rollout to enterprise platform owners
- Monitor and improve agent performance continuously based on evaluation outcomes
Prototyping & Rapid Delivery
- Rapidly build proofs-of-concept, internal tools, dashboards, and demos to validate new ideas
- Apply a prototyping mindset — ship fast, test, then roll out in phases with full documentation
- Translate enterprise use cases into working automations and agents quickly and effectively
- Operate confidently across the full delivery cycle from concept to controlled production handover
Documentation, Handover & User Guidance
- Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and test coverage for every delivered solution
- Hand over clean, reliable, well-documented solutions to platform owners after testing
- Run walkthroughs and provide first-line technical guidance to internal users of delivered tools
- Write clearly in English across all technical documentation, handover notes, and communications
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong Python skills — comfortable with APIs, JSON, scripting, and automation logic
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent/automation frameworks

Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in AI engineering, automation engineering, or a closely related role
