Position Overview
This Head Mixologist role at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is responsible for managing beverage operations across the property, ensuring compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures through training, supervising, and hands-on management. You will implement beverage policy throughout the property, manage in compliance with applicable beverage laws, lead the beverage team, and ensure exceptional customer service across every guest interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Managing Beverage Operations
- Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards, and procedures through training and hands-on management
- Implement agreed-upon beverage policy and procedures throughout the property
- Manage in compliance with all applicable beverage laws
- Understand beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, pars, portion control, and cost controls
- Comprehend budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports to assist financial management
- Assist with developing menus and promotions as necessary
Leading the Beverage Team
- Train staff on beverage control policies and procedures
- Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
- Ensure employees understand expectations and parameters
- Communicate critical information to the beverage staff regarding each event
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service
- Respond effectively to guest problems and complaints
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service
- Review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees, focusing on continuous improvement
