Position Overview
As an Income Auditor at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all financial reports to ensure proper authorization in compliance with applicable hotel policies and procedures. You will check the Night Auditor’s logbook, daily revenue reports, and Food & Beverage reports against supporting vouchers and the trial balance, then distribute approved reports to hotel leadership on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Revenue Review
- Review and verify Night Auditor’s logbook, daily revenue report, and daily Food & Beverage report against supporting vouchers and trial balance
- Distribute daily reports after obtaining approval from the Director of Finance / Financial Controller
- Review the rate variance report to ensure the correct room rate is applied at all times
City Ledger & Credit Control
- Review the city ledger and credit card transfers of the day and pass them on to the Accounts Receivable team
- Support accurate tracking of outstanding balances and payment reconciliation
- Coordinate with front office and accounts receivable on billing accuracy
Cashier & Float Control
- Review overages and shortages of cashiers and take appropriate corrective action
- Review Front Office foreign exchange rates as and when required
- Conduct float counting of all house fund holders on a weekly basis
- Prepare a monthly float count summary for finance leadership review
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting
Experience Requirements
- At least one year of previous experience within a hotel environment
- Prior income audit, front office, or hotel finance exposure is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong computer literacy across finance and reporting tools
- Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and meet daily reporting deadlines
