This role is responsible for monthly production and filling KPIs, weekly and monthly supply chain standard reports, budget monitoring, month-end and quarter-end close participation, and the development and automation of production-focused controlling tools.

Position Overview
This Junior Controller – Supply Chain role at Paulaner in Munich is a fixed-term position running from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2028. You will determine monthly production and filling KPIs, create and analyze weekly and monthly standard reports for the Supply area, support operational business planning, monitor budgets with commentary, participate in month-end and quarter-end close processes, independently manage smaller projects, and contribute to the strategic further development of the Group — with a particular focus on automating and advancing production-specific KPIs and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Supply Chain KPIs
- Determine monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and filling operations
- Develop, advance, and automate production-focused KPIs and controlling metrics
- Create and analyze weekly and monthly standard reports for the Supply Chain area
Budget Monitoring & Financial Close
- Monitor budgets across assigned areas including commentary on variances and deviations
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Support operational business units in their operational planning activities
Reporting, Ad-Hoc Analysis & Process Improvement
- Create and analyze reporting outputs as well as responding to ad-hoc analytical requests from stakeholders
- Review and optimize existing processes and workflows within the controlling function
- Independently manage and deliver smaller controlling projects with accountability for outcomes
Strategic Development Support
- Support the strategic further development of the controlling function within the Paulaner Group
- Contribute to automation initiatives and the advancement of reporting and controlling instruments
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable discipline with a focus on Controlling or Finance
- Alternatively, a commercial vocational qualification (kaufmännische Ausbildung) with relevant further training in controlling
Experience & Technical Skills
- First practical experience in controlling is desirable
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel — essential
- SAP and BI knowledge are desirable and considered an advantage
- Strong interest in process optimization and the development of reporting and controlling tools
