Position Overview
This Manager — Data, Analytics & CRM at HSBC Dubai oversees all BI and Reporting requirements for the UAE market across Segments, CLCM, Products, Transactional Banking, and Channels, leads new Product and Journey Implementation Reporting and BI Projects for the Data & Analytics Function, acts as the central point of contact for Data Analytics on reporting solutions for all new UAE projects, evaluates project scope against Data & Analytics domain capabilities, coordinates with the Analytics Value Stream and Data & Analytics teams on solution responsibilities, manages migration of data and reports to cloud, ensures all required data products are produced and reviewed, and is responsible for delivery of high-quality Data & Information Management & Analysis solutions — providing tailored consultative service to Global Businesses, Global Functions, Regional, and Country teams.

Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Reporting Leadership
- Oversee all Reporting and BI requirements for the UAE market — covering Segments, CLCM, Products, Transactional Banking, and Channels
- Lead new Product Implementation, Journey Implementation Reporting, and BI Projects on behalf of the Data & Analytics Function
- Ensure delivery of high-quality Data & Information Management & Analysis solutions — providing tailored consultative service to Global Businesses, Functions, and Regional teams
- Deliver information that supports the strategic and tactical information needs of the UAE IWPB business across all wealth and banking segments
Strategic Projects & Central Analytics Coordination
- Act as the central point of contact for Data Analytics on reporting solutions for all new UAE projects — engaging with Project and Product teams across the enterprise
- Evaluate scope and confirm requirements are within the Data & Analytics domain before committing to engagement for solutions
- Coordinate closely with the Analytics Value Stream (VS) and Data & Analytics teams to assign and agree on solution responsibilities for project delivery
- Lead the migration of data and reports to cloud — GCP, Data Fusion, and Data Studio — as part of HSBC’s strategic technology transformation programme
Data Management & Governance
- Ensure all required Data products are produced and reviewed — providing technical leadership across requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, testing, quality assurance, and delivery
- Create and manage data governance frameworks — ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all UAE IWPB Data & Information Management systems
- Apply expertise in advanced BI and data tools — SAS, Looker, Qlik — and GCP cloud tools including Data Fusion and Data Studio
- Collaborate with partners across business groups to evaluate emerging analytical techniques and contribute to existing analytical capabilities and computational models
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Graduation Degree — essential for UAE visa and work permit; overseas certificates require up-to-date attestations and equivalency recognition
- In-depth experience of Business Leadership focused primarily on Financial Services, Data, and Information Management
- Experience driving large-scale change and transformation programmes in banking or financial services environments
- Experience creating and managing data governance frameworks
- Exceptional understanding of bank core banking systems and application systems
- Experience with Data Analysis and Data Quality tools in financial services
- Advanced knowledge of BI and Data tools — particularly SAS, Looker, and Qlik
- Experience with GCP/Cloud and related tools — Data Fusion and Data Studio
- Exceptionally strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude and knowledge of financial services/banking operations
