Position Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst analyses supply chain, procurement, inventory, and logistics data to identify trends, risks, variances, and improvement opportunities. This role monitors inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment requirements, supports demand and supply planning, prepares regular reports and dashboards covering inventory, purchasing, and supplier performance, and works closely with internal teams to ensure product availability and control costs.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse supply chain, procurement, inventory, and logistics data to identify trends, risks, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering inventory, purchasing, supplier performance, order fulfilment, and logistics KPIs
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and management reports to support supply chain and business decisions
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, replenishment requirements, slow-moving items, excess stock, and potential stockouts
- Support demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, and material requirements planning activities
- Assist with warehouse and inventory audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and corrective action tracking
Procurement & Supplier Performance
- Track purchase orders, material availability, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to follow up on delayed, incomplete, or urgent orders
- Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, lead times, order accuracy, quality issues, and service levels
Logistics & Process Improvement
- Support logistics planning and analyse transportation, freight, delivery, and distribution performance
- Investigate supply chain discrepancies, including inventory variances, delivery delays, and data inconsistencies
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce lead times, minimise costs, and increase efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, inventory management, logistics, or operations
- Strong experience analysing supply chain data and preparing operational reports
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, trading, or multi-site supply chain environment is an advantage
