Position Overview
This Logistics Assistant role at One Mobility Group involves order processing and shipping management in coordination with customers and shipping companies, planning and managing material supply based on delivery dates and inventory levels, preparing shipping documents and customs paperwork, maintaining master data with timely ERP postings, and supporting the ongoing optimization of logistics processes at the Rülzheim site.

Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Shipping Coordination
- Manage order processing and shipping coordination with customers and carriers
- Liaise with shipping companies to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as they arise
- Support smooth communication between logistics and customer-facing teams
Material Supply Planning
- Plan and manage material supply in line with delivery dates and inventory levels
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Coordinate supply schedules with production and procurement teams
- Apply JIT/JIS principles to support efficient automotive supply chains
Documentation & Customs Processing
- Prepare shipping documents, delivery notes, and customs documentation
- Ensure documentation accuracy for smooth cross-border shipments
- Maintain compliance with international shipping and customs requirements
- Support audit-ready recordkeeping for logistics transactions
ERP & Master Data Management
- Maintain master data accurately within the company ERP system
- Ensure timely posting of logistics transactions and updates
- Keep inventory and shipment records current and error-free
- Support data integrity across logistics and supply chain systems
Process Optimization Support
- Support ongoing optimization of logistics processes and workflows
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in shipping and supply operations
- Contribute ideas within a collaborative, innovation-driven team culture
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics function
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed commercial education, such as industrial clerk or freight forwarding clerk (Spedition)
- Related vocational or commercial qualification also considered
Experience Requirements
- Initial professional experience in logistics, ideally within the automotive industry
- Familiarity with common logistics processes: EDI, delivery calls, JIT/JIS
- Exposure to ERP systems and master data management is an advantage
