Position Overview
The Logistics & Procurement Manager will lead end-to-end sourcing, procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance for vape and tobacco products in the UAE market. The role is responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, uninterrupted supply, and operational excellence across the supply chain.
 Why This Role Matters: As Logistics & Procurement Manager, you identify and evaluate suppliers for vape devices, e-liquids, pods, disposables, and tobacco-related products, negotiate product pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and delivery schedules with major suppliers, oversee inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and outbound distribution, stay current with UAE excise tax, customs, and import regulations to ensure full compliance across all procurement activities, prepare and manage the procurement and logistics budget while tracking key KPIs like savings and inventory turnover, and drive continuous improvement through automation, digital tools, and better forecasting across a highly regulated supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing & Negotiations
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for vape devices, e-liquids, pods, disposables, and packaging
- Negotiate product pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Maintain proper written agreements ensuring compliance with UAE labelling and warning requirements
Purchase Order & Logistics Management
- Review, issue, and track purchase orders with 100% accuracy
- Oversee inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and outbound distribution
- Optimize transportation routes, lead times, and warehousing costs
Regulatory Compliance
- Stay up to date with UAE laws, customs regulations, and import requirements, including excise tax and licensing
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with Federal Tax Authority, customs, excise, and health authority regulations
- Manage proper documentation for import, storage, and distribution of controlled goods
Cost Control & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Prepare, monitor, and manage the procurement and logistics budget
- Track KPIs such as procurement savings, lead times, and inventory turnover
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Finance to align supply chain activities
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement and logistics, ideally 5+ years, preferably in a regulated industry
- Excellent understanding of UAE import/export regulations, excise tax, and compliance requirements
Essential Skills
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and ability to manage budgets
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
