Position Overview
The Food Technologist at LET’S EAT! Food Brands plays a defining role in bringing operational discipline, food safety rigor, and quality consistency to the company’s central production kitchen. You will standardize every recipe across the brand portfolio into clear, scalable, and reproducible formats; build and implement SOPs across all production processes; establish shelf-life and storage protocols; enforce HACCP and hygiene standards; and train the kitchen team to execute to those standards without exception. This is a hands-on, detail-first, operational role for a food technologist who wants to see their work directly reflected in the product quality that reaches customers every day across a beloved Dubai F&B group.

Key Responsibilities
Recipe Standardization & Process Design
- Standardize all existing and new recipes into clear, precise, and scalable formats that can be consistently reproduced across all LET’S EAT! brand operations and channels
- Develop and implement comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all central kitchen production processes — from ingredient prep through to finished product packaging
- Establish robust shelf-life and storage protocols for all products across the brand portfolio, covering both dine-in restaurant products and retail/delivery channel items
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and yield throughout production — identifying and addressing deviations before they impact the final customer experience
Food Safety Systems & HACCP Compliance
- Implement and maintain food safety management systems across the central production kitchen, including full HACCP implementation, hygiene standard enforcement, and Critical Control Point monitoring
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene requirements are consistently met — creating a kitchen environment where safety culture is embedded, not just posted on walls
- Identify food safety risks, non-conformances, and hygiene issues proactively — implementing immediate corrective actions and updating SOPs accordingly
Food Cost, Waste Reduction & Product Development
- Optimize food cost across all brands and production lines through accurate recipe costing, yield monitoring, and systematic waste reduction initiatives
- Support packaging design and product development for retail and delivery channels — ensuring products maintain quality, shelf life, and brand standards outside the restaurant environment
- Drive continuous improvement across production efficiency, ingredient utilization, and process flow — always balancing quality consistency with operational cost targets
Kitchen Team Training & Operational Discipline
- Train kitchen teams across all LET’S EAT! brands on standardized recipes, SOP compliance, food safety requirements, and production quality standards
- Enforce operational discipline — ensuring that every team member understands, follows, and takes personal ownership of the quality and safety standards defined for their production area
- Build a culture of precision, consistency, and quality pride throughout the central kitchen team that sustains standards even when the Food Technologist is not directly present
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in food production, central kitchen operations, or food manufacturing environments — this is a firm requirement for this role
- Strong, practical knowledge of food safety and quality management systems — including HACCP, GMP, and hygiene standard implementation in a production kitchen setting
- Demonstrable experience in recipe standardization, SOP development, and production process design for multi-product or multi-brand food operations
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and operationally focused approach — this is not a desk role; you will be present, active, and engaged on the kitchen floor every day
