Position Overview
The Production Supervisor at Barok Leaf Riyadh leads the day shift production team across the company’s RTE salads and cut fruit facility, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This is an active, floor-based leadership role where you will be responsible for motivating and holding your team accountable to GMP standards, allergen protocols, food safety requirements, and hourly production targets throughout every shift. You own the day shift from pre-start checks through to delivering the completed end-of-shift handover report — ensuring that every minute of production time is safe, compliant, and efficient.

Roles & Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Day Shift Management
- Lead and motivate the day shift production team from line startup through to line close — setting the standard for pace, attitude, and accountability on the production floor
- Attend the pre-shift briefing with the Production Manager and ensure all pre-start checks are completed before production begins
- Monitor line output against hourly production targets and report any deviations to the Production Manager immediately — with no delays
- Manage all line changeovers and ensure allergen resets are correctly completed, verified, and fully documented every time
- Complete and deliver the end-of-shift handover report to the Production Manager by the close of every shift without exception
GMP, Food Safety & Allergen Compliance
- Enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, personal hygiene protocols, and allergen control procedures across the entire day shift team at all times
- Escalate any product quality concern or potential contamination risk to the QC team and Production Manager without hesitation or delay
- Ensure your team understands and consistently operates to food safety and hygiene requirements throughout every shift
- Support a production floor culture where food safety is non-negotiable and every team member feels responsible for upholding standards
Waste, Rework & Documentation
- Record waste, trim, and rework data accurately and consistently throughout the shift — maintaining precise, real-time production records
- Ensure all shift documentation — including allergen reset records, pre-start check sheets, and waste logs — is completed accurately and on time
- Identify and report recurring waste or rework issues to the Production Manager with observations and suggested root causes
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience supervising a team in a food manufacturing or food production environment — this is a firm requirement
- Good working knowledge of GMP standards, allergen control protocols, and food safety requirements in a production setting
- Strong team leadership skills — proven ability to motivate, guide, and hold a production team accountable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Food Safety Qualification at Level 2 minimum — Level 3 is strongly preferred and will be a significant advantage
Preferred Experience
- Prior supervisory experience specifically in RTE (ready-to-eat) production, fresh produce, or high-care food manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience managing allergen control procedures, allergen resets, and related documentation in a production facility
- Demonstrated ability to manage line changeovers efficiently while maintaining full food safety and GMP compliance throughout
- Experience preparing and delivering end-of-shift reports and production handover documentation to management
