 Position Overview

The Quality Manager in Jeddah owns the full quality agenda across manufacturing and supply chain operations for this regional FMCG leader. This role sits at the intersection of factory operations, supplier management, and commercial delivery — responsible for ensuring that product quality, food safety, and operational standards are consistently maintained from raw material intake through to finished products reaching consumers across the Middle East. You will lead audits, manage certifications, develop your quality team, and work cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial leadership to embed a quality-first culture that delivers results both on the production floor and in the market.

Why This Role Matters: As Quality Manager for a legacy FMCG brand in Jeddah, you directly protect millions of consumers across the Middle East — ensuring that every product bearing this trusted brand name meets the highest food safety, quality, and compliance standards. Your leadership shapes not just what passes inspection, but how an entire organization thinks, acts, and delivers on quality every single day.

 Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Quality Ownership

  • Own and lead end-to-end quality across manufacturing and supply chain operations — from raw material inputs through to finished products reaching the Middle East market
  • Ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards are consistently delivered at every stage of the manufacturing and supply chain process
  • Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to embed a strong quality culture where standards are not just defined but executed on the ground daily
  • Lead factory quality management with strong hands-on exposure to plant-level production environments and their specific quality challenges

Quality Systems, Certifications & Audits

  • Manage and maintain quality management systems and certifications including ISO, FSSC, HACCP, BRC, or equivalent standards across manufacturing operations
  • Lead internal and external audit programs — planning, executing, and following up on audit findings to ensure sustained compliance across all operational areas
  • Oversee supplier and vendor quality programs — including qualification, monitoring, and corrective action management across the supply base
  • Manage customer complaint processes and market feedback loops to ensure rapid, effective resolution and continuous improvement of product quality

Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement across quality systems, processes, and team capabilities using structured tools including CAPA, root cause analysis, and improvement methodologies
  • Identify systemic quality gaps and lead cross-functional improvement projects that deliver measurable, sustainable results in product quality and food safety performance
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment — making sound, timely quality decisions under pressure while maintaining compliance and protecting brand reputation

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage, develop, and inspire a quality team — building capability, accountability, and a proactive quality mindset across all levels of the quality function
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure quality is embedded as a shared organizational value, not an isolated function
  • Represent quality leadership in senior management discussions, providing clear, data-driven quality performance insights and recommendations to business stakeholders

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Experience Requirements

  • 6–12+ years of experience in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing — this depth of experience is a firm requirement for this senior leadership role
  • Strong plant-level quality experience with meaningful, hands-on exposure to production environments and their day-to-day quality challenges
  • Proven track record managing quality systems and certifications — ISO, FSSC, HACCP, BRC, or recognized equivalent standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead internal and external audits and ensure sustained compliance across complex manufacturing operations
  • Significant experience handling end-to-end quality including factory quality, supplier quality, and customer complaint management
  • Strong exposure to process improvement tools including CAPA methodology, root cause analysis, and structured continuous improvement programs
  • Proven experience managing and developing quality teams while working cross-functionally across operations and supply chain leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  •  Please Note: Due to high application volumes, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Ensure your CV clearly reflects your FMCG manufacturing experience, quality certifications held, and the scope of quality teams and systems you have managed.

 Who Should Apply?

  • Senior FMCG Quality Leaders: With 6–12+ years of end-to-end quality management experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments in KSA or the wider Middle East region
  • Quality Systems Managers: With proven ISO, FSSC, HACCP, and BRC certification management experience and strong internal/external audit leadership credentials
  • Plant-Level Quality Professionals: Who have worked hands-on in production environments and deeply understand factory quality challenges, controls, and improvement opportunities
  • Continuous Improvement Leaders: With strong CAPA and root cause analysis expertise looking to drive quality culture transformation in a legacy FMCG brand in Jeddah
  • Cross-Functional Quality Managers: Experienced in working across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to embed quality as an organization-wide value rather than a compliance exercise
