Position Overview
This R&D Executive role involves driving innovation, creating new products, and improving existing products for global food solutions portfolio. You will develop and manage R&D activities for meat products including ideation, formulation, development and optimization of flavors and seasoning blends, design and conduct experiments and sensory evaluations, monitor product performance and market trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated with emerging technologies and processing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
- Develop and manage R&D activities for meat products including ideation, formulation, development
- Optimize flavors and seasoning blends for meat seasonings, marinades and functional ingredients
- Create customized new product developments for global food solutions portfolio
- Drive innovation initiatives ensuring highest quality standards
Experimental Design & Testing
- Design and conduct experiments, sensory evaluations and consumer tests
- Evaluate performance and acceptability of new products
- Make data-driven decisions based on experimental results and consumer feedback
- Implement scientific methodologies for product optimization
Market Analysis & Product Performance
- Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends
- Identify opportunities for product improvement and suggest modifications
- Research emerging market needs and consumer preferences
- Develop strategies for product enhancement and market positioning
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with production, quality control, marketing, and sales teams
- Ensure smooth product development and launch processes
- Coordinate between different departments for seamless project execution

External Partnership & Technology
- Collaborate with external suppliers, vendors and research institutions

Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology
- OR related field in food innovation and product development
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in R&D with focus on meat seasoning
- Experience with marinades and functional ingredients in food industry
- Background in food chains and large-scale food production
- Hands-on experience in product development and formulation
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of flavor chemistry and seasoning development
- Experience with sensory evaluation and consumer testing methodologies
- Knowledge of food processing techniques and ingredient functionality
