Al Tayer Insignia — a GCC luxury retail leader with over 40 years of award-winning retail experience across boutiques, department stores, and omnichannel platforms, partnering with the world’s most iconic fashion and lifestyle brands — is seeking an experienced Customer Intelligence Manager in Dubai. This strategic role within the Customer Intelligence function delivers consumer, market, and customer insight that informs strategic and commercial decisions across the business — combining primary research, industry intelligence, foresight, and internal customer data and analytics to produce integrated insight work for senior audiences across GCC markets. Reporting to the Senior Data & Analytics Manager, the role requires 6–8 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or customer analytics within retail, luxury, or consumer-facing industries.
About Al Tayer Insignia — Reimagining Luxury in the GCC
Company: Al Tayer Insignia — GCC’s leading luxury retail group, partnering with the world’s most iconic brands for over 40 years across boutiques, department stores, and omnichannel platforms
Scale: Stores and outlets across the GCC with a seamless omnichannel presence — bringing style, innovation, and heritage together for luxury customers across the region
Customer Intelligence Role: The strategic leg of the Customer Intelligence function — connecting what customers say, do, and value into one integrated point of view for senior business leadership
Culture: Diverse, customer-obsessed, and passionate — celebrating creativity, valuing individuality, and empowering people to grow in a world-class luxury retail environment
Why This Customer Intelligence Manager Role Stands Out
Strategic Intelligence Authority: Design and manage research studies, oversee external research and foresight partners, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations — a genuinely strategic role, not a reporting function
Integrated Insight Mandate: Combine primary research, industry intelligence, consumer foresight, and internal loyalty and transactional data into a single integrated intelligence view — the most complete consumer insight scope in luxury retail
GCC Luxury Market Exposure: Drive insights across multiple GCC countries for the world’s most iconic fashion and lifestyle brands — category-defining research at the highest retail prestige level
AI-Enabled Research Innovation: Apply new tools and AI-enabled research methodologies — actively building the future of consumer intelligence at one of the region’s most forward-thinking luxury retail groups
Position Overview
This Customer Intelligence Manager at Al Tayer Insignia in Dubai supports the Senior Data & Analytics Manager in shaping the annual insight agenda, designs and manages quantitative and qualitative research studies end to end, analyses internal customer, loyalty, and transactional data to build and maintain the internal view of the customer, connects research findings with customer data to produce an integrated picture of customer behaviour and value, delivers insight for strategic projects including market entry, concept development, brand positioning, and customer experience, owns recurring insight products such as consumer sentiment tracking and market monitors, evaluates the effectiveness of in-market initiatives through research and post-launch measurement, manages research agency relationships and budgets, applies AI-enabled research approaches, and develops research standards and frameworks that improve insight quality, consistency, and speed across the business.
Why This Role Matters: As Customer Intelligence Manager at Al Tayer Insignia in Dubai, you are the function that ensures the world’s most prestigious luxury retail group makes strategic and commercial decisions based on what customers actually want — not what the business assumes they want. When your consumer foresight identifies an emerging luxury sentiment shift six months before it appears in sales data, your quantitative research validates a new market entry opportunity that leadership was hesitant to pursue, or your integrated customer analysis reveals a high-value segment that loyalty programme investment has underserved — you are creating the intelligence that makes Al Tayer Insignia’s luxury retail strategy smarter, more confident, and more customer-centred across every GCC market.
Key Responsibilities
Insight Strategy, Planning & Integrated Intelligence
- Support the Senior Data & Analytics Manager in shaping the annual insight agenda — translating business priorities into a structured programme of research and analysis across GCC markets and luxury retail categories
- Combine consumer research, industry intelligence, foresight, and internal customer data into integrated insight narratives that guide strategic and commercial decisions for senior leadership
- Identify and assess emerging consumer, category, and market trends across countries in scope — evaluating their implications for Al Tayer Insignia’s brand partnerships, commercial strategy, and customer experience
- Size and validate market and customer opportunities using internal data and external sources — providing evidence-based foundations for strategic investment decisions
Research Design, Commission & Management
- Design, commission, and manage quantitative and qualitative research studies end to end — from brief and methodology design through fieldwork management to analysis and reporting for senior audiences
- Deliver consumer insight for strategic projects including market entry, concept development, brand positioning, and customer experience initiatives across GCC luxury retail
- Maintain a single, accessible source of consumer and market knowledge — ensuring findings are documented, shared, and reused consistently across the business
- Apply AI-enabled research approaches and new methodologies — continuously strengthening the insight capability available to Al Tayer Insignia’s strategic decision-makers
Integrated Analytics, Customer Data & Reporting
- Analyse internal customer, loyalty, and transactional data to build and maintain the internal view of the customer — delivering regular reporting on customer behaviour, segments, and value
- Connect primary research findings with customer, loyalty, and transactional data — building an integrated, rounded picture of what customers say, do, and value across Al Tayer Insignia’s retail portfolio
- Own recurring insight products — consumer sentiment tracking, market monitors, and category intelligence — ensuring quality, continuity, and timely delivery throughout the year
- Deliver clear, well-structured outputs for senior audiences — with findings framed as implications and recommended actions rather than raw data summaries
Innovation Evaluation, Stakeholder Management & People Development
- Evaluate the effectiveness of in-market initiatives through research and post-launch measurement — providing recommendations for optimisation based on consumer response and business performance data
- Manage relationships with research agencies, insight providers, and foresight partners — from briefing and procurement through to delivery and evaluation
- Coach colleagues across the function and wider business — raising research literacy and embedding insight into business routines, planning cycles, and commercial forums
- Manage research budgets and compliance with data protection and privacy regulations across GCC countries in scope
