Position Overview
This Supply Chain Controller role, offered as a fixed-term parental leave cover until 30 June 2028, focuses on developing and maintaining a KPI system for Logistics and Purchasing, automating inventory management and controlling, and developing management reporting for both functions. You will support budget and forecast creation as a business partner, contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, coordinate planning support for Purchasing and Logistics, and actively participate in cross-functional project teams.

Key Responsibilities
KPI System & Inventory Controlling
- Develop and maintain a KPI system for Logistics & Purchasing
- Develop and automate existing inventory management and controlling processes
- Conduct inventory reporting and analyze variances
- Report on write-offs and destruction
- Analyze inventory differences as part of the annual financial statement
- Create meaningful analyses to support inventory optimization while ensuring supply reliability
- Support effective Working Capital Management with a focus on inventory
Management Reporting & Business Partnering
- Develop and automate management reporting for Purchasing & Logistics, including standard and ad hoc reports
- Analyze purchase price variances, freight cost monitoring, and related metrics
- Support the creation and tracking of budgets and forecasts for Logistics and Purchasing as a business partner
Month-End/Year-End & Project Work
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, especially monthly inventory valuation and write-downs
- Coordinate and support planning in Purchasing and Logistics, as well as material cost planning
- Actively participate in cross-functional project teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Business studies degree with a focus on controlling, or completed commercial training with relevant further education
Experience Requirements
- Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge in logistics and/or purchasing controlling
- Detailed knowledge of SAP R/3, particularly the FI, CO, MM, SD, and CO-PA modules, is desirable
