Position Overview

As a key point of contact during night shifts, you will help resolve operational challenges quickly and keep drivers moving toward their destinations, working closely with dispatchers, drivers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
Why This Role Matters:Â As Afterhours Driver Support Specialist, you serve as the primary point of contact for drivers experiencing operational issues during afterhours and night shifts, listen to drivers’ concerns with empathy, assessing situations quickly to provide practical solutions, use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to identify load numbers and retrieve shipment information, contact brokers and stakeholders when additional instructions or clarification is required, coordinate through internal channels like Slack, tagging the appropriate dispatchers and drivers, and work collaboratively with at least one other team member each shift while remaining capable of independent ownership of issues.
 Key Responsibilities
Driver Support & Issue Resolution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers experiencing operational issues during afterhours and night shifts
- Listen to drivers’ concerns with empathy, assess situations quickly, and provide practical solutions
- Assist drivers with load, receiver, shipper, routing, and other transportation-related issues
System Navigation & Stakeholder Coordination
- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to identify load numbers and retrieve shipment information
- Contact brokers and other relevant stakeholders when additional instructions or clarification is required
- Coordinate through internal communication channels such as Slack, tagging appropriate dispatchers and drivers
Communication & Team Collaboration
- Maintain clear and accurate communication throughout each issue until resolution
- Work collaboratively with at least one other team member during each shift
- Identify recurring challenges and contribute to improvements in afterhours support processes
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, telephone customer support, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or a related field
Essential Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, explaining complex or time-sensitive information clearly
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure or with incomplete information
- Empathetic and customer-focused approach when interacting with drivers and partners
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable using computer software, communication platforms, and transportation or logistics systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling multiple issues simultaneously
Schedule Requirements
- Willingness to work 8-hour afterhours/night shifts, including weekends
- Availability to work remotely from Poland (per original listing)
