Position Overview
This AI Associate role at Inception42 Abu Dhabi covers the full applied AI project lifecycle — from collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data and assisting in data pipeline and workflow creation, through supporting model training, evaluation, and optimization, collaborating with AI scientists and engineers on algorithm development, assisting with production deployment of AI models, and monitoring deployed models for performance and accuracy. Key Responsibilities
Data Collection, Preprocessing & Pipeline Management
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data for AI and machine learning projects to required quality and consistency standards
- Assist in the creation and management of data pipelines and workflows supporting Inception42’s applied AI R&D projects
- Apply data analysis and visualization tools — including pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib — to understand and communicate data characteristics
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the preprocessing and pipeline management stages of AI project delivery
Model Training, Evaluation & Optimization
- Support the training, evaluation, and optimization of AI and machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
- Collaborate with AI scientists and engineers to develop, test, and refine algorithms and models for domain-specific and industry applications
- Apply basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods to contribute meaningfully to model development activities
- Participate in iterative model improvement cycles — contributing technical analysis and testing support to drive better model performance
Model Deployment & Production Monitoring
- Assist in the deployment of AI models into production environments as part of Inception42’s applied AI delivery pipeline
- Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure continued performance, accuracy, and reliability in production
- Identify and escalate model performance issues, data drift concerns, or deployment anomalies to senior AI team members
- Contribute to documentation of deployment processes, monitoring procedures, and model performance records
Cross-Functional Collaboration & AI Solution Delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including AI scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Deliver AI solutions that meet business needs through structured, collaborative project execution within Inception42’s fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field (REQUIRED)
Experience Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science projects — internships and strong academic projects are acceptable
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks and libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools including pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib
Essential Technical Skills
- Basic to solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
