Position Overview
This Senior Production Manager role manages self-directing, multi-functional teams to efficiently process and pack poultry products, meeting internal customer order requirements within management performance parameters. You will ensure adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality & Safety Standards, fulfil internal customer service requirements while meeting agreed quality specifications and cost parameters, and ensure that all necessary resources are available and utilized in a safe and efficient manner.
Why This Role Matters: As Senior Production Manager you lead poultry manufacturing operations for the #1 FMCG brand in MENA, directly influence product quality, service delivery, and profitability across the plant, apply HACCP and ISO 22000 standards at scale, manage and develop a large production workforce, and take on a senior leadership role within Almarai’s aggressive expansion strategy across the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan.

Quality Management
- Optimise product quality ensuring that products meet required specifications
Service Delivery
- Maximise service to internal customers – right product, right time, right specification
Cost & Yield Management
- Optimise product yield and minimize wastage
- Maximise plant utilization to support the profitability of the operation
Health & Safety
- Ensure Health & Safety on-the-job training is conducted for staff
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner
Manpower Planning & Staff Development
- Direct, manage, and control required manpower and resources to achieve production targets
- Motivate the workforce to meet future business challenges
- Identify, plan, and implement requisite staff development initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Processing Technology or a related field
Experience Requirements
- 7–9 years of experience in a Poultry Processing Plant
Certification Requirements
- HACCP Certification
- Knowledge of ISO 22000
