Position Overview
This Logistics Executive role involves planning and coordinating daily delivery routes and distribution activities for a leading UAE-based FMCG distributor. You will manage the company fleet including vehicle allocation, fuel consumption, and Salik/DARB recharges, supervise drivers and helpers for smooth day-to-day operations, monitor fleet and delivery expenses, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate logistics records across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, E-commerce, and HORECA channels.

Key Responsibilities
Route Planning & Delivery Coordination
- Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes across Sharjah and surrounding UAE areas
- Ensure timely deliveries in line with distribution schedules and customer commitments
- Optimize routes for efficiency across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and E-commerce orders
- Coordinate delivery activities to support HORECA channel requirements
Fleet Management
- Manage the company fleet including vehicle allocation for daily distribution runs
- Monitor fuel consumption and track Salik/DARB recharges across the fleet
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and delays
- Maintain fleet readiness to support consistent, reliable delivery operations
Team Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate with drivers and helpers on a daily basis
- Ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations across all delivery routes
- Communicate effectively in Hindi and English with drivers, helpers, and stakeholders
- Resolve on-ground operational issues quickly to keep deliveries on schedule
Expense Monitoring & Records Management
- Monitor fleet and delivery expenses including fuel and toll costs
- Maintain accurate logistics records for reporting and operational review
- Track and resolve discrepancies in delivery, fleet, and expense data
- Support cost-efficient distribution operations across the UAE market
Operational Problem-Solving
- Identify and resolve operational issues affecting delivery timelines
- Coordinate with internal teams to address route, fleet, or staffing challenges
- Apply strong knowledge of UAE areas, routes, and distances to improve efficiency
- Support continuous improvement of distribution processes
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant logistics/distribution experience (Minimum requirement)
- Experience preferably within the FMCG industry is highly advantageous
- Hands-on experience in FMCG route planning, fleet management, and distribution operations
Essential Skills
- Good knowledge of UAE areas, routes, and distances
- Experience managing drivers and helpers in a distribution environment
- Strong organizational skills for fleet and expense monitoring
- Ability to resolve operational issues quickly and maintain accurate records
- Fluent in Hindi and English (REQUIRED)
