Position Overview
This Structural Drafter role prepares structural shop, construction, and as-built drawings from engineer-approved designs for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and stairs. You will develop plans, sections, details, and reinforcement drawings, coordinate structural interfaces with architecture, MEP, civil, and landscape drawings, incorporate consultant comments, RFIs, and approved site changes, check dimensions, levels, annotations, and revisions before submission, and coordinate with structural engineers and site teams to resolve discrepancies and capture verified as-built information.

Key Responsibilities
Drawing Preparation
- Prepare structural shop, construction, and as-built drawings from engineer-approved designs
- Cover foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, and other applicable elements
- Develop plans, sections, details, and reinforcement drawings where required
Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate structural interfaces with architecture, MEP, civil, and landscape drawings
Comments, RFIs & Revision Control
- Incorporate consultant comments, RFIs, and approved site changes
- Check dimensions, levels, annotations, and drawing revisions before submission
Site Coordination & As-Builts
- Coordinate with structural engineers and site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies
- Capture verified as-built information for final documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
Experience Requirements
- 2-5 years of structural drafting and detailing experience
- Experience in construction or shop drawing production
Technical Skills
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Sound knowledge of structural elements and reinforcement detailing
- Ability to interpret engineer-approved structural drawings
