Position Overview
This Head Hostess role involves leading the hostess team and managing reservations, warmly greeting and farewelling guests, converting enquiries into reservations to support revenue targets, ensuring immaculate outlet presentation and service standards, briefing the team on reservations and special events, liaising with other departments for cleanliness and maintenance, and optimizing reservations for productivity, guest satisfaction and cross-selling other hotel outlets.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Reservations
- Lead the team of hostesses, managing and maximizing reservations
- Liaise with regular guests and ensure immaculate personal presentation of the team
Guest Service
- Warmly greet guests, escort them to tables and farewell at the end
- Respond to guest enquiries by email or telephone and convert enquiries into reservations
Operational Standards
- Ensure the outlet is in immaculate condition and service standards are upheld
- Keep the team informed of upcoming reservations, special events and guest chefs/bartenders
- Assist the team with cross-selling other hotel outlets
Revenue & Budget Management
- Stay aware of revenue targets, ensuring they are achieved and exceeded
- Control costs within pre-set budgets, including beverage cost and other expenses
Team Communication & Coordination
- Participate in daily pre-service team briefings
- Liaise with other departments to maintain outlet presentation, cleanliness and maintenance
- Optimize restaurant reservations for productivity, guest satisfaction and revenue generation
