Position Overview
This 4D/5D Specialist role develops and manages 4D construction sequencing simulations by integrating BIM models with project schedules, creating and maintaining 5D cost simulations by linking BIM models with quantity and cost data. You will collaborate with Planning, Contracts, and BIM teams, customize BIM models for construction phasing and visualization, integrate scheduling data from Primavera P6 and MS Project, prepare high-quality construction simulation videos, perform quantity verification, monitor project progress through digital simulation, and ensure BIM models comply with international construction standards.

Key Responsibilities
4D Construction Sequencing
- Develop and manage 4D construction sequencing simulations by integrating BIM models with project schedules
- Integrate scheduling data from Primavera P6 and MS Project into BIM workflows
5D Cost Simulation
- Create and maintain 5D cost simulations by linking BIM models with quantity and cost data
- Perform quantity verification and support cost analysis using BIM-enabled workflows
BIM Coordination & Visualization
- Collaborate with Planning, Contracts, Quantity Surveying, and BIM teams for accurate project delivery
- Customize BIM models to support construction phasing, logistics planning, and stakeholder presentations
- Prepare high-quality construction simulation videos and project visualizations
Progress Monitoring & Standards Compliance
- Monitor project progress through digital simulation and recommend schedule optimization strategies
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, client requirements, and international construction practices
Innovation & Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve planning, sequencing, and constructability challenges
- Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced BIM workflows and automation
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Planning, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in 4D/5D BIM, planning, quantity surveying, or project controls
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, infrastructure, industrial, or mixed-use projects
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Navisworks, Synchro 4D Pro, and CostX
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop for visualization
- Solid knowledge of construction scheduling, cost planning, and BIM coordination
Essential Skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project schedules, BOQs, and BIM models
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BIM-based project controls and digital construction
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 BIM standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
- Experience working on international AEC projects, particularly in the Middle East
