Position Overview

This Design Engineer, Crop Care Planters role involves developing robust 3D CAD designs that meet product requirements, communicating design concepts across teams and stakeholders, solving engineering problems and documenting design decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance performance, cost, risk, and project timelines. You will also create and release accurate 2D drawings for manufacturing and procurement, working closely with simulation, powertrain, hydraulics, electrical, cab, and software teams.

3D CAD Design & Documentation

  • Develop robust 3D CAD designs that meet product requirements

Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration

  • Communicate design concepts across teams and stakeholders

  • Work closely with validation teams to ensure designs meet functional and durability standards
  • Balance performance, cost, risk, and timelines across cross-functional projects

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering from an accredited university

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Prior experience in agricultural equipment design is a plus but not mandatory
  • Entry-level friendly: suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals
