Position Overview
As a QC Inspector in Saudi Arabia, you are the last checkpoint before food enters the distribution center. You will verify temperatures, inspect quality against specifications, record problems with photos and make sure storage and pest control meet company SOPs and SASO/SFDA requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect all inbound deliveries before receiving.
- Check fresh produce, meat, deli and grocery items against specifications.
- Measure vehicle and product temperatures before unloading and dispatch.
- Recommend acceptance or rejection, and report non-conformities with photos.
- Complete receiving logs, checklists and inspection reports accurately.
- Check Brix and firmness of fruits where applicable.
- Confirm proper storage conditions and monitor pest control at the distribution center.
- Follow company SOPs and SASO/SFDA requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma required. College-level education is preferred.
- Previous QC or inspection experience is mandatory, preferably in fresh produce, meat or grocery.
- Good English communication. Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Good computer, email, reporting and inspection-tool skills.
