 Position Overview
This Flavourist III role involves creating new Sweet Goods and Beverages flavours based on customer requests and market insights, using the latest flavour technologies, ingredient innovations, and sensory insights. You will collaborate closely with Science & Technology and regional teams, craft excellent customer relationships, manage assigned projects from brief to production, and act as a technical expert resolving flavour production issues while coaching and mentoring flavour assistants.

 Key Responsibilities
Flavour Creation & Innovation
- Create new Sweet Goods and Beverages flavours based on customer requests and market insights
- Use the latest flavour technologies, ingredient innovations, and sensory insights
- Collaborate with Science & Technology teams to apply leading tools for the Middle East region
Customer Relationships & Project Management
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Execute daily brief-related tasks and manage assigned projects through production and regulatory compliance
- Lead customer visits for flavour creation and product presentations when required
Technical Leadership & Mentoring
- Resolve flavour production issues and customer complaints, fully owning created flavours
- Coach, train, and mentor flavour assistants, flavourists, and application technologists
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or Biology
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience and track record as a Flavourist, following formal Flavourist training
- Flavour creation experience in preferably both Sweet Goods and Beverages segments
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, flavour ingredients, formulation, and regulatory requirements
Essential Skills
- An expert palate and tasting skills
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Strong project management and presentation skills
- Comfortable working and collaborating with diverse teams and cultures
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure or knowledge of the Africa or Middle East markets is advantageous
