Position Overview
As an API Portal Developer (Sr Specialist, Software Development & Engineering), you will work with application, security, infrastructure and platform teams to make APIs easier to find, secure and use. You will also speed up cloud-native adoption and strengthen platform resiliency, using automation and AI-assisted tools wherever they save time.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, operate and automate the enterprise API gateway portal on Google Apigee
- Improve developer experience and speed up API onboarding
- Strengthen platform resiliency, monitoring and production support
- Partner with security, infrastructure and platform teams on cloud-native solutions
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 4+ years in UI and backend development, middleware or API integration
- Angular, JavaScript, REST APIs and developer portal experience
- CI/CD with Maven, GitHub Actions or similar, plus observability and alerting
- Test-Driven Development: unit, integration and contract testing
- Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools and AI-DLC awareness
Preferred
- Agentic AI workflows or multi-agent orchestration
- API management in financial services or other regulated industries
- Certificate lifecycle management and traffic migration experience
- Google Apigee or GCP certifications
