Position Overview
This Technical Consultant Wind Energy role takes responsibility for client wind farms, covering fault management, coordination with manufacturers and service partners, invoice and open-item review, and reporting. You will accompany rotor blade damage projects from assessment through project planning to acceptance, including documentation for insurers, surveyors, and law firms, and handle engineering topics such as yield loss and business interruption calculations based on SCADA and park data, along with system communication and network/cloud connectivity for wind farms.

Key Responsibilities
Interim Operations Management
- Take responsibility for client wind farms, including fault management and coordination with manufacturers and service partners
- Handle invoice and open-item review, and reporting
Damage & Major Component Projects
- Accompany rotor blade damage projects (lightning damage, blade replacement, repair) from assessment through project planning to acceptance
- Prepare documentation for insurers, surveyors, and law firms
Engineering & Special Topics
- Conduct yield loss and business interruption calculations based on SCADA/park data
- Support system communication and network/cloud connectivity for wind farms
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Technical training or degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering)
Experience Requirements
- Experience in operations management, service, or project management of wind turbines
- Manufacturer knowledge (e.g., Vestas) is a plus
Essential Skills
- Structured, independent working style with enjoyment of communicating with clients, manufacturers, and insurers
- Confident German, good English
- Class B driving license and willingness to travel to wind farm sites
