Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Planning & Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily dispatch activities for container, air, and road shipments
- Ensure all shipments are loaded in line with dispatch schedules and customer requirements
- Prepare and issue gate passes for all outgoing shipments
- Verify shipment quantities, packing details, and dispatch documentation prior to vehicle release
- Coordinate with logistics providers, transporters, and freight forwarders to ensure timely dispatch
Warehouse Storage & Pallet Management
- Manage storage of packed pallets and finished goods in the warehouse
- Allocate and maintain accurate storage locations for all packed pallets
- Update pallet location details accurately in the VRAK system
- Track pallet movement from production, packing, storage, and dispatch stages
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and traceability of all pallets
Inventory Control & Compliance
- Monitor warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and support stock reconciliation activities
- Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) compliance during storage and dispatch operations
- Support container stuffing operations and ensure optimal container utilization
Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with production, planning, engineering, and logistics teams to achieve shipment targets
- Maintain accurate dispatch and warehouse reports, logs, and documentation
- Monitor finished goods inventory and provide daily stock status updates
- Support internal and external audits by providing required warehouse and dispatch records
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in warehousing, dispatch, or supply chain operations preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control, FIFO principles, and warehouse management systems
- Ability to coordinate effectively with logistics providers, transporters, and cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail in verifying shipment quantities and documentation
