Key Responsibilities
Risk Framework & Supplier Assessment
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier risk management framework aligned with procurement policies
- Identify critical suppliers and develop risk classification models based on financial stability, capability, and compliance
- Conduct initial and periodic risk assessments and due diligence for new and existing suppliers
Financial & Operational Risk Monitoring
- Assess supplier financial health, creditworthiness, and indicators of financial distress or insolvency
- Evaluate production capacity, delivery reliability, and supply chain bottlenecks or single-source dependencies
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and market risks affecting supplier reliability
Contract & Compliance Risk Management
- Work with legal and contract teams to review supplier contract terms, liability, and risk allocation
- Monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations, quality requirements, and performance standards
- Support anti-bribery, anti-corruption, sanctions screening, and cybersecurity risk assessments
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a centralized supplier risk register with ratings, mitigation plans, and responsible owners
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for procurement leaders and executive stakeholders
- Conduct root cause analysis following supplier disruptions and support incident response activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong expertise in supplier risk management, procurement governance, and third-party due diligence
- Experience with supply chain resilience, contract compliance, and risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to evaluate supplier financial stability, operational capability, and regulatory compliance

- Familiarity with applicable United Arab Emirates laws and regulations affecting supplier relationships
