Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Market Analysis
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with organizational and project objectives
- Analyze category expenditure to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing inefficiencies
- Conduct market research on supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and category-specific risks
Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation
- Identify and qualify suitable suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and service providers
- Develop RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tender documentation with clear scope and commercial expectations
- Conduct bid comparisons, commercial evaluations, and total cost of ownership assessments
Negotiation & Cost Optimization
- Lead or support negotiations on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions
- Develop cost models and benchmarking analyses to support sourcing decisions
- Track realized savings against approved targets and validate results with finance teams
Contract & Supplier Performance Management
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop and review supplier agreements and framework contracts
- Monitor supplier performance against cost, quality, delivery, and service indicators
- Develop category dashboards and management reports on expenditure, savings, and sourcing progress
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier evaluation
