Key Responsibilities
Team Coordination & Service Flow
- Ensure staff work together as a team to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs
- Inspect grooming and attire of staff, rectifying any deficiencies
- Monitor the deck for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
Operations & Inventory
- Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and cleaning equipment and areas
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness
- Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies
- Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
Team Support & Guest Experience
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating service needs
- Follow safety and security policies, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions to management
- Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and up and down stairs
- Strong communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
