Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations & Equipment Monitoring
- Carry out assigned operational work safely in line with Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform routine equipment checks, reporting defects and coordinating servicing with supervisors
- Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates during shutdown and start-up
- Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance to ensure accurate, synchronized functioning
Chemical Handling & Compliance
- Receive chemicals, maintain stock and consumption registers, and prepare chemical batches per procedure
- Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently per Company standards
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls
- Obtain work permits and monitor contractor activities for safety adherence
Safety & Emergency Response
- Carry out duties as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies per the Facility Response Plan
- Participate in Emergency Response duties as an active team member
- Comply with HSE policies, procedures, and ADNOC Code of Practices at all times
- Provide on-the-job training support for UAE Nationalization competency programs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate
- 4 years of experience in Plant Operations within a large industrial plant in the Oil and Gas industry
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervisor direction
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Ability to work in an A/C environment with occasional site visits involving heat, humidity, or dust
- Relevant professional certifications as applicable
