Logistics Engineer Position Overview
The Logistics Engineer role focuses on the continued development of fulfillment centers and automation solutions in a fast-growing fashion e-commerce business. You’ll start with the big picture, analyzing the fulfillment network and projecting future capacity and growth requirements, then translating those findings into sustainable logistics solutions. From there, you’ll shape the design of fulfillment centers, including material flow and returns processes, so that the sites can handle rising volumes without losing efficiency. Technology is a central part of the work. You’ll plan and oversee the introduction and development of warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), and automation solutions from first concept through successful go-live. Investment decisions are built on solid numbers, so you’ll develop business cases and evaluate options in automation, sortation, and capacity expansion. Managing projects means working across internal teams, external technology partners, suppliers, and system integrators, keeping quality, timelines, and budgets on track. Once systems are in place, you’ll support testing, ramp-up, and continuous improvement, helping each logistics site perform at a higher level over time.
As Logistics Engineer, you’ll grow your expertise in fulfillment design, intralogistics, and data-driven process improvement while working with some of the latest technology in modern e-commerce operations. The role offers exposure to sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval, autonomous mobile robots, and high-SKU fulfillment environments. The ideal candidate has completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a comparable field, along with several years of experience in logistics or fulfillment engineering, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or fashion. Practical experience planning, optimizing, or implementing logistics processes and automation, strong analytical skills, solid project management, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders are all key. Very good German and English (C1) are required, and Polish is an advantage. Familiarity with WMS and WCS platforms, AutoCAD or similar layout tools, SQL or Power BI, and Lean or Six Sigma methods will strengthen your application. For engineers who want to see their designs become working warehouses, this position offers a meaningful and well-paced path.
Why This Role Matters: As Logistics Engineer in fashion e-commerce, you help build the fulfillment centers that get clothing to customers quickly and accurately, lead automation projects from business case to go-live, shape returns and material flow for a fast-growing business, manage technology partners and system integrators, use data to drive investment decisions, and advance a senior engineering career in European logistics.
