Janus Digital is hiring an experienced BIM Modeller for MEP and commercial buildings. This is a hands-on role that splits time between producing high-detail models and testing AI tools that could change how BIM is done. About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Platform/Product Officer, you will spend roughly 60% of your time on production BIM and 40% on platform intelligence. That means delivering federated MEP models for offices, retail, hospitality, mixed-use and data-centre projects, measuring how much time AI and automation save compared with manual work, and turning real modelling problems into product requirements for Janus Digital’s own AI BIM platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce federated MEP models: HVAC, plumbing and drainage, fire protection, electrical, ELV and low-current
- Model to LOD 350–400, including fabrication-ready ductwork, pipework, containment and supports
- Build parametric Revit families, shared parameters and project templates
- Run clash detection in Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro
- Use AI and automation for auto-routing, family generation, drawing automation, model checking and scan-to-BIM
- Write Dynamo and pyRevit/Python scripts, using AI coding assistants to speed up the work
- Evaluate AI-for-AEC tools on real project data and advise on platform priorities
- Apply ISO 19650: BEPs, MIDPs/TIDPs, naming conventions and CDE workflows
Qualifications & Requirements
- 6+ years of BIM modelling, with at least 4 on MEP in commercial projects
- Portfolio of coordinated LOD 350+ MEP models on at least three delivered projects
- Proven ISO 19650 delivery and multi-discipline clash coordination
- Expert in Revit MEP; proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Dynamo scripting, working Python, and daily use of LLM assistants
- Evidence of AI or scripting that sped up modelling, with before-and-after results
- Preferred: Revit API, Grasshopper, APS APIs, Solibri or Revizto, COBie, IDS, bSDD and Dubai Municipality BIM e-submission experience
