Position Overview
This building planning role covers new builds, extensions and maintenance of engineering structures across HOAI phases 1 to 7. You will draft designs, run tenders and manage external engineering offices.

Key Responsibilities
Planning & Design
- Plan complex new build, extension and maintenance projects for engineering structures, HOAI phases 1 to 7
- Prepare and coordinate designs, permit planning, execution and tender documents
Procurement & Contracts
- Tender, award, steer and contractually manage planning and engineering services from external engineering firms
Quality, Compliance & Control
- Make sure measures meet technical and legal rules with internal trades and public authorities
- Review and coordinate preliminary, design and execution plans and enforce corrections
- Keep project deadlines and cost budgets under control
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification
- Master or Dipl.-Ing. in civil engineering, focus on structural engineering, or comparable knowledge and experience
Experience
- Solid experience in building planning and structural engineering
- Good knowledge of rules and standards such as HOAI, VOB/A, VOB/B, VgV, FStrG and ZTV-ING
Essential Skills
- German at least C1 level, spoken and written
- Class B driving licence and readiness to drive a company car and travel within the region
- Resilient, decisive, reliable and independent, with strategic and economic thinking
- Nice to have: iTWO, SIB-BW and MS Office skills, and experience awarding engineering contracts
