A UAE concrete and block manufacturer needs a reliable Assistant Plant Operator to support daily production. If you have at least a year in a cement block, brick or ready-mix plant and take safety seriously, this role helps you move up toward full plant operator.
About the Role
You will assist the Plant Operator in running and monitoring batching plant machinery and its controls. That means helping produce concrete, cement blocks and bricks to specification, handling cement, aggregates and water, watching mixers, conveyors, hoppers and silos, checking equipment before and during production and reporting any fault quickly. You will also support loading, keep production records and equipment logs, and help with cleaning and basic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in operating and monitoring batching plant machinery and controls
- Support production of concrete, blocks and bricks to approved specifications
- Handle and batch cement, aggregates, water and other raw materials accurately
- Monitor mixers, conveyors, hoppers and silos, and report faults promptly
- Support loading and material handling, and coordinate with Plant Operator and Quality Control
- Keep production, consumption and equipment records
- Help with cleaning, routine maintenance and housekeeping, following HSE rules
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 1 year in cement block or brick manufacturing, RMC or similar concrete production
- Block or brick manufacturing experience is required
- Basic knowledge of plant operations, raw materials and manufacturing processes
- Familiar with mixers, conveyors, batching equipment or block-making machines
- Basic equipment checks, troubleshooting and maintenance understanding
- Able to follow instructions, keep records and work in a team
- Physically fit and willing to work shifts in an industrial plant
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and production targets
