Position Overview
As Clinical Application Specialist Neonatal, you provide application training and clinical support for the sales activities of the Area Sales Manager. You support distributors with staff training, clinical trials in hospitals, teaching strategies and competitor analysis, deliver the global education programme with monthly action plans, and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical and economic stakeholders. You also assess distributor clinical teams’ knowledge, build customised training programmes, monitor the competitive market, give product feedback and escalate issues, and work in the CRM system.
Why This Role Matters: This role lets neonatal ICU professionals use their clinical experience beyond the bedside. You teach, advise and shape product direction for ventilators used with the most vulnerable patients, in a home-office setup with a travel-heavy, international scope.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Clinical Support
- Provide application training and clinical support for sales activities
- Support distributors with staff training, clinical trials in hospitals and teaching strategies
- Assess distributor knowledge and build customised training programmes
Stakeholders & Market
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical and economic stakeholders
- Monitor competitors and report market intelligence quarterly
- Deliver the global education programme with monthly action plans and new leads
Product & Team
- Give feedback and escalate product issues for improvement
- Work with the Europe Sales Director, marketing, sales and customer service
- Use the CRM system and support clinical training events
Qualifications & Requirements
Clinical Background
- Medical degree with neonatal intensive care specialisation and NICU experience, or a graduate nurse experienced as a NICU nurse or neonatal ventilation practitioner
Skills
- Fluent English (C1); German, Russian or other languages a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly
- Strong organisation and advanced Microsoft Office skills
Conditions
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, internationally and nationally
- Complete mandatory training, locally and abroad
