Position Overview
As Software Developer specializing in Oracle, you design the architecture of the insurance application system ICIS® and the methods and standards for software development. You develop and extend applications in the Oracle environment using SQL and PL/SQL, plus REST and ORDS interfaces and Bash scripting under Linux. You develop DevOps processes and development platforms together with IT operations, support and integrate development tools from Oracle, Atlassian and in-house environments, and write architecture and development guidelines, model solutions, tools and technical standards.

Architecture
- Design the architecture of the ICIS® insurance application system and the methods and standards for software development

Development
- Develop and extend applications in the Oracle environment using SQL and PL/SQL

DevOps & Tools

Qualifications
Education
- Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
Experience & Skills
- Several years in software development and sound knowledge of relational databases, ideally Oracle
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL; Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, REST, ORDS or shell scripting is an advantage
Personal
- Interest in current technology, modern development processes and innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and teamwork, able to explain complex topics clearly
