Position Overview
As Senior DevOps Engineer, you make sure software runs reliably, securely and efficiently. You set up and manage infrastructure for client projects with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code such as Ansible, and build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines. You deploy and run open source software and in-house applications automatically, set up monitoring and logging for performance and availability, and keep improving security. You work closely with developers for smooth releases.

Infrastructure
- Provide and manage infrastructure for client projects with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible)

Qualifications & Requirements
Technical Skills
- Experience orchestrating containers and very good knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiar with Infrastructure as Code and tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab CI/CD
Experience
- Experience in the described area of responsibility is desirable
Personal & Language
- Stay calm when several requests arrive at once
- Communicative, working closely with developers and other teams
- Structured problem analysis and pragmatic solutions
- Fluent German, as it is the working language; living near Berlin or Karlsruhe is preferred
