Quality Control Inspector Position Overview
The Quality Control Inspector role at Luxodor Oils is the final check that every order leaving the business is correct, well packaged, and ready for the customer. Fragrance products are judged by their scent and their presentation, so the inspection work covers both. The first check is fragrance accuracy. You’ll confirm that the right fragrance has been filled and shipped by comparing it against the order details and approved reference samples, using smell comparison as part of the process. Filling is checked next: fill volume and weight need to match the specification, and you’ll catch variances before the product moves on. Packaging integrity follows. You’ll inspect bottles, caps, seals, and cartons for leaks, damage, and correct closure, so that the product arrives in the condition the customer expects. Labelling is checked closely too, including product name, code, batch number, and shipping marks, since accurate labels are essential for traceability and for compliance on shipment. Incoming packaging materials such as bottles, boxes, and labels also pass through your hands, so that faulty supplies never reach the production line. Good records underpin all of this. You’ll keep inspection logs and batch traceability current, report defects as they occur, and investigate customer complaints when they arrive. You’ll also work alongside production and warehouse colleagues to understand what caused an error and to put changes in place that stop it from recurring.
As Quality Control Inspector, you’ll develop a disciplined, checklist-driven approach to inspection, sharpen your fragrance and packaging knowledge, and build the traceability and documentation habits that regulated product supply depends on. The ideal candidate has at least two years of quality control or inspection experience in production, packaging, or warehouse operations, ideally in fragrance, cosmetics, FMCG, food, or similar packaged-goods environments. Very strong attention to detail and comfort with documentation are essential, as is a good sense of smell for distinguishing fragrances, with training provided to build that skill. Familiarity with batch or lot tracking and order-picking accuracy checks is useful, and basic computer skills in Excel or Google Sheets will help with inspection logs and reporting. Knowledge of shipping and dangerous-goods labelling for fragrance products is an advantage, and good English is required. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Dubai. Shortlisted applicants will complete a practical assessment that includes fragrance matching and packaging inspection. For quality inspectors in Dubai who want to work with premium fragrance products, this role offers a focused and practical position.
Why This Role Matters: As Quality Control Inspector at Luxodor Oils, you protect the customer experience for premium fragrance products, catch filling, packaging, and labelling errors before they ship, keep batch traceability reliable for every order, work with production and warehouse teams to remove the root causes of defects, and build a career in quality control for fragrance and packaged goods in the UAE.
