A fast-growing quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept in Abu Dhabi — specialising in burgers, fried chicken, and a variety of street-food favourites — is hiring a hands-on Food Quality Team Lead. This is a practical, kitchen-floor leadership role covering food quality assurance, kitchen operational standards, recipe and SOP standardisation, structured culinary training, and regular kitchen audits across multiple QSR outlets and the central kitchen. If you are a Sous Chef, Head Chef, Kitchen Operations Leader, or Senior Cook with 5+ years of QSR experience — especially in burger and fried chicken operations — this is your chance to step into a quality leadership position in the UAE capital.
About the Client — Abu Dhabi QSR Concept
Base: Abu Dhabi, UAE — a growing quick-service restaurant brand serving the capital’s busy food-on-the-go market
Specialisation: Burgers, fried chicken, and a range of street-food favourites
Operations: Multiple QSR outlets supported by a dedicated central kitchen facility
Focus: Consistent product quality, strict brand standards, and well-trained kitchen teams across every outlet
Note: Client identity is shared with shortlisted candidates during the recruitment process
What You Will Be Protecting — Product Consistency
Burgers: Patty cooking standards, bun handling, assembly consistency, and presentation across every outlet
Fried Chicken: Marination, breading, fry temperatures, oil quality, and crispy, juicy results every single time
Street-Food Favourites: Sides, sauces, and menu extras prepared to the same brand specification everywhere
Standards: Recipe manuals, SOPs, and cooking guidelines that every cook follows — no exceptions
Why This Food Quality Team Lead Role in Abu Dhabi is a Great Next Step: Most QSR kitchen professionals hit a ceiling at the Sous Chef or Operations Leader level. This role lets you move into brand-wide quality ownership — writing the recipe manuals, training the teams, and auditing the standards across every outlet. For a chef or kitchen leader who enjoys teaching, loves consistency, and wants a role with real influence over how food is made and served, this Abu Dhabi QSR opportunity is a strong career step.
Position Overview
As Food Quality Team Lead in Abu Dhabi, you will lead food quality assurance, kitchen operational standards, and hands-on culinary training across the brand’s QSR outlets and central kitchen. You will standardise and implement recipe manuals, kitchen SOPs, cooking procedures, and guidelines; design and deliver structured practical training programmes for chefs, cooks, and kitchen teams; and carry out regular kitchen audits and food quality inspections against brand standards. This is a mobile, hands-on role — you will spend your time in the kitchens, not behind a desk — travelling between outlets and the central kitchen to keep quality high and consistent.
Key Responsibilities
Food Quality & Operational Standards
- Lead food quality assurance and kitchen operational standards across all QSR outlets and the central kitchen — making sure every burger, piece of fried chicken, and street-food item matches the brand’s specification.
- Standardise and implement recipe manuals, kitchen SOPs, cooking procedures, and guidelines — turning kitchen know-how into clear, written standards that any trained cook can follow consistently.
Culinary Training & Coaching
- Design and deliver structured practical training programmes for chefs, cooks, and kitchen teams — covering recipe execution, cooking techniques, and product consistency.
- Coach kitchen teams on the floor, giving clear, hands-on guidance that raises skill levels and keeps the whole brand cooking to the same standard.
Audits & Inspections
- Conduct regular kitchen audits and food quality inspections in line with brand standards — identifying gaps, documenting findings, and following up so that improvements actually stick.
- Prepare clear audit reports, SOP documents, recipe manuals, and training materials using MS Office — keeping management informed and the paperwork professional.
